Dear Paris,
… and Dear France,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazing year, the incredible new friends, the too-brief dip into your beautiful culture, and for the time of my life; it was better than I ever dreamed it would be. I’ll miss you like air, but for now, it’s time to head home. À très bientôt, ma belle ville.
I have lots more to say about my French departure, but right now my brain and heart are too shaken up and too confused to process it all and write it, so stand by; more is on its way. And thanks for asking, yes, Parlez Vous Loco will continue; I feel crazier now than I did when i arrived, so it only seems appropriate. Ahhh, change. You know how to turn a girl’s world upside down.
In the meantime, some pics. My first day and my last day in Paris. (NO! IT’S NOT OVER!!)

…aaaaand my last day in Paris. Same sky almost, same clouds, same moody Seine. Only my hair color and the months seem to be different.

And I just like the way I’m looking at the Seine in this one. I think I’m actually trying not to let the camera catch me crying. Sigh.
You’re even more beauteous now than the first day you stood on that bridge. I feel like I’m leaving Paris too! (sniff) Welcome home, RB. xoxo
Thanks, Deeps! Hope I get to see you on our beautiful California coast soon! xoxo
That last photo is beautiful! We’ll miss you.
Thanks, Edna – I miss it and you guys already!
